I finally got the time to go through and test the remaining maps that I informed to still have this issue back in last June. It seems that the original 'problem' is now gone from those as well.
From this observation I would go on to conclude that all the IF maps have now been fixed (or is "upgraded to a new weather system" better wording in this case :)

When placed correctly by terrain maker this doesnt happen. Issue happens if there's a gap between models.
In recent testings in the last weeks no one died from trench collision.

I had a similar issue with Pak40 recently, but it's not due to IFA3 but the April update of FOW.
I manage to fixed it. This fix should be included in IFA3/FOW compat mod. I will send it to Tyra.
